Wagon Rides
While many visitors to the Flying W Guest Ranch are "chopping at the bit" to take our one or two hour long trail rides, most folks are also absolutely with the opportunity to experience an authentic, horse drawn wagon ride.
Our two beautiful draft horses, Newt and Leon, are a sight to behold just because of their size and full blond manes. But as you journey over this raw terrain, you'll be further amazed by their strength and agility.
Flying W is a working ranch, where you can see cattle, Texas Longhorn, buffalo, and a vast variety of native wildlife, including deer, quail, wild turkey, beaver, porcupine, dove, and armadillos, to name a few. You might even catch a glimpse of ol' wiley coyote.
Like the trail riders, w e'll travel up hill and down, across the creeks, through the brush. It is an adventure through some of best scenic countryside that Oklahoma has to offer. You won't believe the color and variety of this untamed prairie, so don’t forget to bring your camera.
Reservations are requested so that we can be ready for you, but if you don't have reservations, ask us and we'll see if we can make something happen for you.
A wagon and team for your group is available for only $125 per hour
We also offer trail rides on horseback, including a 2-hour ride which includes a visit to the buffalo kill sites.
